Mirza Zahir Beg

Mirza Zahir Beg, Badge No. 71771, was born on Feb 28, 1933 in Delhi, India. His father Mirza Bashir Beg and mother Sharefan Begum brought him up in an impeccable manner, which was reflected in his exemplary character. There were two children from their parents; Zahir Beg and his sister.

He received his former education in Pakistan and married in 1960 to Ameer Begum. He joined Training Department of Saudi Aramco in 1972. He was blessed with a beautiful family of 9 kids with his wife. The family had moved back to Pakistan when his children were at a college age.

He retired from Saudi Aramco in 1993. His eldest son Naeem Beg is working in Weatherford Oil Tool, at Erbil, Kurdistan Iraq. The second son Fahim Beg is residing in Karachi and working with Al-Masood Oil and Gas Comp; and younger Son Faisal Beg is working in Weatherford Oil Tool at Gabon –Central Africa.

Zahir was an exceptional son, a terrific brother, a very caring and loving husband, a phenomenal father and a beloved grandfather. He was a permanent member of Saudi Aramco Ex-Employees Association (SAEEA) and always actively participated up till 14th reunion. He was a good player of Lawn Tennis, and actively participated in Saudi Arabia while working for Saudi Aramco.Mirza Zahir Beg during last Umra in July-2014 After suffering for several months from August 2015 on serious illness he peacefully passed away on March 12, 2017 in Karachi. All the family members and SAEEA office bearers terribly missed him and pray to ALMIGHTY to grant him good place in paradise, Ameen.
