Mary Gibbons
Mary Gibbons died early Tuesday morning in Dhahran. Services will be announced.
Miss Gibbons transferred to Aramco from the Standard Oil Company of California's Western Operations, Inc. in Phoenix, Ariz. Her Socal service dated from Nov. 14, 1956, and her transfer to Aramco brought her to Saudi Arabia first on June 17, 1959. She returned to Socal in Phoenix in 1961 and the following year returned to Saudi Arabia as a secretary in the Treasurer's Department. In 1963 Miss Gibbons transferred to district management in Ras Tanura and in January of this year she came to Dhahran as secretary to the district manager.
Miss Gibbons was born in Milwaukee, Wis. and attended schools there. She studied at the University of Arizona in Phoenix prior to joining Socal. Miss Gibbons is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Golanke, 4070 North First Avenue, Tucson, Ariz. [Photograph]
