Judge Edward Dossett
Judge Edward Dossett, 75, of Wasola, MO passed away on June 10, 2014 at his residence. He was born on October 20, 1938 in Pollok, TX, the son of Bennett and Annie (Strickland) Dossett.
On November 15, 1956, Ed was united in marriage to Shirley Cooper in Orange, TX and to this union two children were born, Edward Dean and Cynthia Jean. Ed worked for many years as a Marine Electrician for Saudi Aramco Oil Company. He and Shirley moved to the Ozarks in 1976 and settled in Wasola, MO. Ed retired from Saudi Aramco in 1998. He was a real "people person" and truly enjoyed visiting with his family and friends.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents Bennett and Annie; one brother and one sister. He is survived by his wife Shirley of the home; son Edward Dossett of Wasola, MO; one daughter Cynthia Aldrich of Walnut Grove, MO; one granddaughter Alexandria Adams and husband Brandon of Wasola, MO; two great grandchildren Leland Judge Adams and Thatcher Dossett Adams; and one brother Willis G. Dossett of Ava, MO.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Dale Roberts officiating. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
