John Thomas Meade
John Thomas Meade, 47, a senior engineer with International Bechtel Builders, Inc., died suddenly last Wednesday morning in Abqaiq. He had worked in Saudi Arabia for IBBI in 1955 and 1956, and returned June 18, 1965, on another tour. He was assigned to duties in Abqaiq and 'Udhailiyah.
Mr. Meade was born in Baton Rouge, La., and joined Bechtel from Oakland, Calif. He is survived by his wife, Wadah, and two daughters, Laura, age 7, and Patricia, 4. Mrs. Meade's address is P.O. Box 734, Beirut, Lebanon. Memorial services were held in the Dhahran Theater yesterday morning at 10:30. Interment will be in Beirut. [Photograph]
