James F. Perkerson, Jr.
James (Jim) F. Perkerson Jr, son of James F. Perkerson Sr and Llewellen Parks Perkerson, passed away on June 9, 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Millie, siblings Angus Perkerson III, Marie Herman, and Byrd Perkerson, sons James (Jay) Perkerson III, William (Bill) Perkerson III, and grandson Beau Perkerson.
Mr. Perkerson was an early morning and afternoon announcer for local radio WNEA, and attended West Georgia college.
Mr. Perkerson taught 8th grade Chemistry and Physics at Aramco schools for 30 years, then retired to Asheville, North Carolina.
