James C. Stirton
James C. Stirton, who was with Aramco and owner companies for nearly 38 years, died Friday evening in Amsterdam, it was learned here Monday. He was stricken during a cruise that he and his wife, Edna, were making. When the ship reached Amsterdam he was hospitalized for treatment.
Mr. Stirton came to Saudi Arabia in 1952 and was vice president of Engineering and Construction when he retired in May, 1958. He was associated with International Bechtel Builders, Inc., after his departure from Aramco. The Stirton home is at 1401 Walnut St., Berkley, Calif., 94709.
