George H. Whitbeck
George H. Whitbeck, 41, of Dhahran, died last Thursday afternoon, Feb. 13, in New York. Funeral services were held Feb. 15 at Delmar, N.Y.
Mr. Whitbeck was educated in New York State and received his BS and MBA degrees from Syracuse University. Mr. Whitbeck joined General Electric in February 1951 and remained until October 1965 when he joined Aramco. All of his company service was in the Industrial Relations Department in Dhahran, where he was a staff analyst.
Mr. Whitbeck is survived by his wife, Margaret, and by his three children, Lauren, Lynn and George. Mrs. Whitbeck wishes to thank the Dhahran community for the thoughtfulness and assistance shown the family during Mr. Whitbeck's illness. She asks that flowers be omitted; however, those wishing to contribute in Mr. Whitbeck's memory may do so by sending donations to the American Cancer Society, 521 W. 57th St., N.Y., N. Y.
