Doris Marie Dal Bello
Doris passed away peacefully on June 7, 2022 after a sudden illness. She was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Lena Dal Bello, and the loving sister of Mary (Tom) Shea and Diana Szostak (Frank – deceased). She is predeceased by her sisters Jean (Roy) Woodward, Burma (Bob) Krompass, Elsie (Tom) Milledge and brother Bruce (Sharon) Dal Bello.
Doris was an active member of the PGA Croquet Club and a very dedicated and devoted parishioner of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Special thanks to the Very Rev. Fr. Gavin Badway for helping Doris as she passed into our Lord’s kingdom. A very special thanks also to her Prayer/Rosary family, her dear friends Monica Uhlhorn, Jill Coulter, and Terri Modzelewski, and all her friends from church – your kindness and warmth will be rewarded in heaven.
Doris is a graduate of Columbia University where she studied nursing. She worked in New York before spending over 25 years in Saudi Arabia (American compound – ARAMCO), before retiring to PBG in 1992.
A mass in celebration of her life will be held at St. Ignatius of Loyola Cathedral on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 11am.
