Devere Sue Hein

Born Nov. 20, 1933, Devere Sue Hein died at home on Nov. 11, 2012, in Green Valley, Ariz., where she lived since the mid-1990s. With husband, Marvin, Sue moved from Wyoming to Libya in 1964 with daughters Sandra and Jacque, and spent over 20 years abroad. As an administrative professional for ARAMCO, Sue also provided logistical support during Desert Storm for the Dept. of Defense. In support of our troops, Sue prepared home-cooked meals for desert-bound soldiers.

She found artistic expression in oils, watercolors and china painting and stained glass, yet maintained community involvement as a Sheriff's Auxiliary Volunteer and Titan Missile Museum docent.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, daughters, sister Estelle of Colorado, granddaughter Jessica, grandsons Gabriel and Matthew, two nieces, three nephews and seven great-grandchildren. Family and friends will memorialize her remarkable life next summer in her beloved Wyoming Rocky Mountains.
