Christine G. Fields
Christine G. Fields, 85, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at Pomerado Hospital in Poway, after a short illness.
Born June 9, 1922, in Rector, Arkansas, she lived in Rancho Bernardo for 26 years. She graduated from Southern Baptist Hospital in New Orleans in 1943. She also received a degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, as nurse anaesthetist in 1954. Chris worked for an American Arabian Oil Company, ARAMCO, in Saudi Arabia, for 25 years before retiring. She is survived by her nephew, Charles Murphy, of Springfield, Missouri; many cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless friends. She was a member of Stoneridge Country Club and enjoyed golf, playing bridge and traveling. She had visited over 170 countries in her lifetime.
