Bodo C. Neumann
Bodo "Bud" C. Neumann passed away on June 15, 2016 at the age of 84.
Born in 1932 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Paul and Klara Neumann. He had previously lived in Morristown, NJ, Houston, TX and retired from work in 1997 to live in Marble Falls, TX. He then relocated to Florida in 2006.
Bud graduated from The Cooper Union (B.S. Civil Engineering) in 1953 and from New York University (M.S. Civil Engineering) in 1962 and was a licensed professional engineer. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy with the 6th and 7th Fleets with rank of Lieutenant from 1953 to 1957.
His early career was devoted to designing highways and bridges for the Interstate Highway System. The balance of his career was spent in the oil industry. He worked for the Exxon Oil Co. from 1964 to 1970, and then spent the next 18 years working overseas for ARAMCO (the Arabian American Oil Company) in Saudi Arabia and Europe and then his final eight years before retirement with the Chevron Oil Company in Monterey Park, CA.
Bud is survived by his wife Helen, sons Richard Neumann of Nashville, TN, Peter Neumann of Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, Paul Neumann of Tomball, TX; daughter Terri Pareti of Allen, TX; and sister Ruth Leonhardt of Port St. Lucie; and seven grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, brother and granddad, who left us far too early and will forever shine in our hearts.

Bud's remains will be placed in the South Florida VA National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
A memorial service will be held at the cemetery on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 11AM.
