Bart Hendricks
Husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and a true friend passed away September 1, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah in a house full of family.
His death will not be a passing moment in any of our hearts, his death has affected everyone he has met.
Preceded in death by mother, Glenna Blake Hendricks, father Wilbert Alonzo Hendricks, brother Lowell Alan Hendricks, and brother Neil Wayne Hendricks. He was born on July 20, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He attended West High School and graduated in 1969. He served in The Army during the Vietnam War, where he worked as a helicopter mechanic. This experience gave him a lifelong hobby which later provided the opportunity to travel around the world working as a helicopter mechanic. As he traveled the world and enjoyed life, he found himself in Saudi Arabia working as a helicopter mechanic for the oil company, Aramco.
During that time he met the love of his life in Thailand. After marrying Bunsom Kwanprem Hendricks, his wife and adopting her two boys, Somsak Hendricks and Pun Hendricks, they shared a son together, Neil Hendricks. With a big heart, they later adopted their daughter, Charlene Hendricks Castles. After 25 years of marriage, Bart was blessed with a loving family and retired happily with his wife in Rigby, Idaho. His life was full of adventure and love wherever he went. At the moment of his passing, he was surrounded by loving family. Though he is gone, he will forever be remembered in our hearts.
The family will receive friends at a visitation held Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Evans and Early Mortuary , 574 East 100 South followed by a service at 12:00 Noon. Interment will take place at Elysian Burial Gardens.
