Ahmed Omar Jinawy
Ahmed Omar Jinawy, 37, came to Aramco from Mecca in April, 1948, and was first employed as a mechanic in Maintenance and Shops in Dhahran. He became overhaul mechanic in September, 1951, automotive unit rebuilder in April, 1953, and lead automotive unit rebuilder the following year. He transferred to the Oil Operations department in February, 1957, and in August, 1958, became materials tester, equipment repairman, Producing division, Oil Operations.
Aisha Ahmed Jinawy, age 7, Ahmed's daughter, had been in Beirut since last September for treatment of poliomyelitis and was being brought home by her father at the time of the crash.
Jinawy is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters, who reside in al-Khobar. [Photograph]
