On June, 1st 2007, Engr. Iqbal Ahmed Khan (VP-Saudi Aramco Ex-Employees Association)-SAEEA by the grace of Allah (S.W.A.T.) was blessed with a granddaughter, Zoya Imran.
Throughout the years, Zoya has matured into one fine and competent young woman. She is a student in Generation’s School and is currently in Grade XI. She recently took the Cambridge O Level CAIE exams as well.
Zoya recently turned 16 and celebrated her birthday in a small gathering with family and friends, separately.

The day before her birthday, her family took her to KFC for a birthday dinner and they enjoyed a delicious meal there. Her mother, Erum Imran and her sister, Zara Imran also baked her a cake which she cut with her paternal side of the family. The cake had the caption, “a problem since 16 years”, which was a prank that Zara played on her sister.
A few days after her birthday, Zoya’s school friends arranged a surprise party for her which they planned with her sister Zara Imran. They all gathered in McDonalds located in North Walk Mall. As Zoya arrived at the venue, they all surprised her by clapping and singing the birthday song, as she had no clue they were planning this.

She received a lot of gifts from her friends and had a great time. A lovely lunch was enjoyed with many laughs and stories shared over the meal. Then, they went to North Nazimabad Gymkhana to spend the evening there and bask in the warm summer air for a while. They took pictures and spent quality time with each other by playing around and sitting on the grass and talking with each other.
This was truly one of the most memorable birthdays for Zoya, partly because it was her Sweet 16th as well as the effort put in by her friends and family that made it even more special.
