The voices of nations
Silenced.
Generations upon generations,
Stifled.
Powerful, creative minds
Seized.
Thoughts, dreams, aspirations
-- God’s gifts to man --
aborted.
When will they be able to grow,
To live,
To thrive
In the expanding universe of possibilities?
Will the nations shackled by a few,
Consigned to an etherized death-like slumber
Break the shackles that bind?
Will the people awaken?
Will their craving the ideal,
Will their cry for freedom.
Be heard?
The masses are stirring,
Setting forth for that worthy quest,
Will they find holy freedom’s grail?
