The Great Summer Family Picnic was held on June 9th, 2024 at Wildventure Water Park and Resort and it was a treat offered by Engr. Taha A. Khan and Samia Siddiqui for the entire family in celebration of their new car and son, Master Amin A. Khan’s first birthday!

On Sunday morning, we set off for the water park and were fortunate enough to reach early and reserve three huts in advance, which provided us with shade and a cozy spot to gather, eat, and recharge between all the aquatic adventures. Around 11 AM, everyone had reached, and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. It was a perfect sunny day, ideal for splashing around and having fun in the water. The park was equipped with a variety of thrilling water slides, from gentle ones for the little ones to exhilarating ones that got our adrenaline pumping. There were separate pools for ladies and kids, ensuring everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience.

For our picnic feast, we opted for a one-dish system that ensured simplicity and convenience. Our spread was a delightful assortment of flavors and favorites, catering to everyone's tastes. We savored aromatic chicken biryani, creamy pasta, hearty sandwiches, crispy chicken boast, and decadent chocolate brownies. To quench our thirst on this sunny day, we had a variety of soft drinks, refreshing juices, and plenty of snacks like chips and cookies to munch on throughout the day. The combination of delicious food and the picturesque setting of the water park made our family picnic an unforgettable experience, fostering moments of joy and togetherness under the warm sun.

As to capture the hut you have to be arrive early as it is on first come first serve basis. Lot of the huts are occupied while lots of families are just sitting under the shade on the road.
The water park's pools and water slides provided endless excitement and adventure for everyone in the family. The kids' pool was a colorful oasis filled with playful water features and shallow areas perfect for our little ones to splash around safely. Ayra, Hamza and Amin had lots of fun splashing around in the water! Nearby, the ladies' pool offered a serene retreat with its fun slides and comfortable environment, allowing the women to relax and enjoy some well-deserved downtime.

As for the waterslides, they ranged from exhilarating twists and turns to thrilling drops that had us screaming with delight. Huma and Zoya even went on the Pendulum Water slide which dropped down from a six story building and had them screaming for their lives! The tallest slides offered breathtaking views from the top before plunging into swirling currents below, while the gentler slides provided a fun and carefree experience for the younger members of our group. Each slide provided its own unique rush of adrenaline, leaving us eager to try them all over again.

Throughout the day, the laughter of children and the occasional shrieks of excitement echoed around the park, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with joy and camaraderie. Whether racing down slides or floating lazily in the pools, our family picnic at the water park was a perfect blend of relaxation and exhilaration, making it a day we'll fondly remember and cherish.
