As per announcement made in the Urdu Siasat Daily Newspaper the Saudi Aramco ex-employees Association (SAEEA) members, Hyderabad, India have gathered at the residence of employee Shaik Khan Mohammed on May 14, 2023, 14:00 hours, Sunday.
The meeting hall was full of energy, joy and smiles. Due to the Covid wave, the Saudi Aramco General Body meeting was taking place after a two-year gap. Condolence and prayers were made for colleagues who passed away due to Covid and other ailments. The opening of the meeting was conducted by the General Secretary Abdul Qader who commented on the highlights of the work done in the past. Upon his encouragement, all attendees gave their brief points of view on current affairs identifying the following actions commenced:
- Funds collected to meet the future expenditure of the association.
- A few members gave their consent to assist and give donations based on case-by-case seriousness.
- It is agreed that a meeting with families and dependents will be called to meet and greet, and for networking.
- After several members volunteered locations for the next meeting, it was decided that the next meeting will be held at the Ansari residence. The date will be announced after the executive working committee meeting.
A few members, due to prior appointments, left after the delicious Arabic and Desi tasty lunch with hot cups of tea.
Overall it was a wonderful, memorable and healthy social therapy meeting.
