For thirty-two years, beginning in 1980, Shirley Seymour served as a Senior Staff Nurse at the Abqaiq Health Center where she specialized in women and children's health care while she and her late husband, Cornell, raised their four children—Jamila Oni-Zahra Seymour, Zakiya Ayo-Zahra Seymour, Ayisha Uri-Zahra Seymour, and Christopher Travis Seymour.
Just shy of two years ago, AramcoExPats featured Shirley as part of the Let Us Write About You series where she shared with us the aspects of life in the Kingdom that made her time there memorable. Among the highlights, she noted, "I believe that I have given my children a valuable worldview by introducing them to many different cultures."
Continuing with this tradition, Shirley recently reported that she, "Zakiya and Ayisha had the wonderful opportunity to spend two weeks touring Morocco. Casablanca, Rabat, Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Meknes, Fes, Middle Atlas Mountain and Erfoud were among the places visited. The scenery and history were fabulous but the hospitality of the people made this an unforgettable experience."
