Al & Pat Denyer who lived in Dhahran and Ras Tanura from April 1980 to August 1990 announce the marriage of their granddaughter Kayla Ann Abilez of Thousand Oaks, California to Grant Heron of Salt Lake City, Utah at the Los Angeles Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on June 13, 2015. Kayla is the daughter of Linda Abilez of Thousand Oaks, California and Grant's parents are Rick and Kara Herron of Salt Lake City, Utah. Kayla received her bachelor's degree in political science from Brigham Young University. Grant is a master's graduate in architecture from the University of Michigan. A reception was held later in the day at the home of Joe and Karen Neff in Camarillo, California. Over 125 family and guests attended the reception. Family members came from as far as Maryland and Utah. The newlyweds will reside in Arlington, Virginia.
