“The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” — Mahatma Gandhi
My grandchildren, Hamza and Huzaifa, and I were excited to visit the Oshawa Zoo and Fun Farm. On the morning of 16th August 2024, the entire family prepared for the trip. It was a bright sunny day. From Toronto, the Oshawa Zoo is located at a 48-minute drive.
After buying the tickets (for children the entry was free), upon entering, a welcoming board with different pictures of animals attracted my grandchildren, and we captured a memorable picture.
During the tour of the zoo, we saw the following lovely and interesting animals:
Camel with two humps
Goat, Cow and Ducks
Mules and Horses
At the exit gate, the zoo thanked and invited all the visitors to come again.
The zoo is spread over 22 acres of land; it has 45 different species; the walk burnt a lot of calories. It’s a fantastic experience for the kids. My recommendation to the global Aramco Expat readers is to visit Oshawa Zoo when they visit Canada.
