Ross School

Ross School

Ross School is a co-educational, accredited boarding (grades 7-12, postgraduate) and day (pre-nursery-grade 12, postgraduate) school offering year-round and summer programs. Located in a safe, idyllic setting in East Hampton, New York, approximately two hours east of New York City, Ross School is the most prestigious boarding school in New York. During the academic year, Ross's world-class faculty delivers a global, integrated curriculum to more than 525 students from all over the globe.

Cultural history is at the core of the Ross curriculum, interwoven with all the other disciplines-mathematics, science, world languages and literature, visual and performing arts, media studies and technology, and physical education/wellness. Art and artifacts, reproductions of which are found throughout the campus buildings, are continually integrated into learning experiences, which are interdisciplinary, interactive, and engaging. A Ross education focuses on guiding students to learn about their world and their connection to it through hands-on inquiry and active investigation. An intensive English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program helps international students to increase fluency and competence in the English language. Opportunities abound for independent study, competitive athletics, extracurricular activities, and travel.
