Bill Quinn, 89 of Vidor died Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, TX. A native of Beaumont, he was a longtime resident of Vidor.

Bill served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a member of the Asiatic - Pacific Fleet. He was a longtime employee of Mobil Oil, Mobil Chemical and Aramco.

Bill served as pastor at various Southern Baptist churches in Southeast Texas for over 60 years. He was Pastor Emeritus of Maplecrest Baptist Church, Vidor. He was proud of his service to the community of Vidor, including his years of service as Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop #156, Little League Baseball coach and umpire, Special Deputy and board member of Main Street Ministries.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Monday, August 13, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.

Bill is survived by his wife of 68 years Peggy Quinn of Vidor, TX, sons Michael "Mike" Quinn and his wife Allison of Vidor, TX, and Mark Quinn and his wife Debbie of Mauriceville, TX, daughter Pamela "Pam" Jackson and her husband Gary of Kirbyville, TX, 7 grandchildren,10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Memorial Bible Fund of The Gideons International.
