Elmer Byron Hess

Funeral services were held at the Dhahran Club House for Elmer Byron Hess, Arabian American Oil Company employee, Assistant Foreman of the Dhahran Sheet Metal Shop.

Mr. Hess was well liked and had many friends in all three districts of Aramco's operations. Mr. Hess was born October 26, 1902. He was stricken suddenly and passed away at the Dhahran American Hospital on May 12, 1949.

Mr. Hess is survived by his Mother, one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Guest and two brothers, George and Charles Hess.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. May 15, 1949 and were largely attended.

Mrs. M. H. Moore acted as accompanist. As a Processional selection Mrs. Moore played "Beautiful Dreamer" and as a Recessional, "Evening Star". Mr. Skip Elley acted as soloist and sang "The Last Chord" and "Abide With Me". Interment was at the Dhahran Cemetery.
