Aramco Expats | Jerry Hurych | Lost Passport Procedures

Lost your passport? Have urgent travel? Not to worry. We can help! If you have lost your passport, the first step is to report that you lost your passport to the Consulate. You should also make an attempt to report the lost passport to the police, especially if you are a victim of crime. You will need to come to the Consulate to apply for a new passport. If it is an emergency, call us. If not, please make an appointment on our website. Along with your application, fees and a new photo, you will also need to fill out a DS-64 form (Statement Regarding a Lost or Stolen Passport). We have all the necessary forms in the Consulate. Please don’t forget to bring a recent photo taken within the last 6 months. If you need to apply for a new passport for your minor child, you will need to provide proof of parentage (birth certificate) at the time of application. Your child and both parents also must be present on the day of the application – same as a regular passport application. If you have urgent travel, we can assist you by issuing an emergency passport. This can usually be done the same day. The Consulate cannot issue an exit visa on the passport. You must work with your sponsor to issue a new visa or transfer the iqama to your new passport. Passport processing generally takes 2-3 weeks. --- American Citizen Services Consulate General of the United States | Dhahran, Saudi Arabia U.S. Department of State | +966.013.330.3200 | DhahranACS@state.gov Register at https://step.state.gov/step/
