Dhahran Theatre Group Cookbook, 1993

Ingredients:

2 Tablespoons butter
1 Medium onion, chopped coarsely
1 Medium green pepper, chopped coarsely
1 Lb. kilbasa sausage, sliced
1 Lb. large shrimp
1 16 Oz. can tomatoes
1 Can chicken broth
6 Oz. tomato paste
3/4 Cup uncooked rice
2 Teaspoons sugar
1 Teaspoon thyme
1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 Teaspoon cayenne
1/2 Teaspoon black pepper
1 Bay leaf

Directions:

Melt butter and sauté onions till tender. Add everything else. Stir well and simmer 20 to 30 minutes until rice is done.

Remove bay leaf and serve.
